Yesterday we went to Cromer on the train to take Bee to the beach for the first time proper and enjoy the sunshine. Despite a slight miscalculation in when we left the house necessitating a “light” jog down Prince of Wales road we caught the train in time for a bargain price of £8.30 between us and arrived in Cromer nice and early. The first thing we noticed when we got to the beach was the wind, it was so windy that you couldn’t feel the heat which meant we both got a bit over-tanned. Bah. The second thing we noticed was how quiet it was, we knew it’d be fairly thin on the ground due to the England game but there couldn’t have been more than about 50 people on the entire beach so it was kind of odd being there with a few handfuls of people dotted about. We had a lovely day and spent ages just wandering about on the beach. Also we had ice cream so how could we have a bad time? Here’s the latest pics of our little star including some taken on the beach. Or if you’re too lazy to click on that there’s some below.
Today we had a BBQ and sat out in the garden with Bee trying not to get too hot. It was wonderful.
