We went to the recently reprieved Inspire Discovery Centre today. Chloe and the girls have been a couple of times before, most recently during my crap shoulder episode, but I’d not been before today. It’s brilliant. Bee is a bit young to understand the scientific point of most of the exhibits but that matters not when you’re 2 and a half years old and like exploring the world. There’s so many things to do and play with as it’s all hands on, even Miri was able to have a go on the exhibits despite her diminutive size. Her favourites were anything involving button mashing and the cylindrical gravity well thing. Bee liked the photo-sensitive table: “There’s a table and you put your hands on it and press a button and then it makes handprints!” and running round like a loon pushing a wooden cart. It was great.
And now video. We fabric painted a canvas bag but using a film canister, fabric paint and some alka seltzer. Behold!
