NB: I started this post a while ago but what with everything going on have only just finished it.
We went wandering round the UEA a couple of weeks ago, back when the sun actually shone in the sky and wasn’t hidden behind thick grey clouds all day and I, as I am wont to do, took a few photos. I love the UEA. I think that perhaps the concrete isn’t exactly the most inspiring view but the way that it sits against the vast amounts of greenery really makes the area come alive. I like the way that the greenery is starting to claim back the building leading to sites like these:
Lasdun gets a lot of stick for his work (see the Royal National Theatre) but something about it appeals to me as well as Chloe.
And so to the actual pictures. Despite my waffle above there’s only one picture featuring the UEA architecture below, most are little oddities and things I spotted when walking round.
Part of the UEA, I think it almost looks like a Castle.
