So, anyway, we’ve started weaning Bee now after we noticed her insatiable craving for whatever we were eating. We started off with some baby rice before introducing carrot and then pear. Most of these elicited a look that said “This is disgusting, why are you soiling my mouth with these foul foods?” but subsequent tastes proved this to be a harsh initial judgement as proven by her love of pear. Today she had a whole pot of sweetcorn and potato puree (not in one go I hasten to add) as well as baby rice on top of it. At this rate she’ll soon weigh more than me! In other news my Brain Age is now 28, only 2 years older than I actually am so that’s pretty good.

It’s Mario! First world down and all looks brilliant so far. It’s just like classic SMB, but with better graphics and moves from the 3D games. Hooray! Most reports of I’ve read state it’s a bit easy but that there’s plenty of hidden stuff to keep you going. We shall see how we get on.
My “big pile o’ games” arrived this morning from the good people at Tronix. They only posted it on Monday too! In amongst the goodness was Brain Age. I’ve done the first few tests and my current brain age is 37 which is pretty good I thought. It’s a bit scary in that some of the calculations take me what seems like ages to do however I seem to be doing OK so far.
I also got NSMB and Metroid but haven’t had a go on those yet.
E3 has been and gone for another year, I missed most of the exciting announcements as we were travelling to Gloucestershire at the time but I soon caught up with everything. Probably the biggest surprise is how Sony appear to have shot themselves in the foot somewhat with the PS3′s pricing. Given how they’ve dominated gaming since the original Playstation it’s amazing that they’d want to launch at such a high price point, especially when MS will have had the 360 out for almost a year by the time the PS3 will be released which means there’s bound to be a price cut shortly before said date. Well done Sony. The idiots.
The main highlight for me though has to be Nintendo. Sadly no price or launch details for the Wii were announced but they still stole the show with Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Metroid Prime and the sports game all using the crazy Wiimote. Plus they announced Yoshi’s Island 2 for the DS!

Last week I managed to sell our Turnips for 599 bells apiece making 230,000 bells profit. Yay! A few hours later I learned I could have sold them for 630. Bah. Still I finally got to visit deKay in Cheese and say hello, so all worked out in the end. Roll on this week, maybe it’ll be us that gets a huge price, which’ll be nice.
In other news Ribbot still hasn’t shown any signs of moving out but is ill, ha ha ha.
