….as Mel & Kim once sang.
Had a lovely long weekend starting on Thursday in Topcroft to surprise my Dad for his birthday. The next day we went to the Maize maze at Hedenham which Bee loved as there were animals, a trampoline, a sandpit and some ride-on toy tractors. I suspect we could have left her there and she’d still be running around like a loon now.
Of course easily the highlight of the weekend for our Bean was getting her very first car:
Other than that we mostly relaxed, saw my grandparents, my Sister, our cats (who are still on extended holiday in Topcroft) and basically just took it easy. As there is now only one week to go till baby is due we’re trying to keep Chloe rested so her hips don’t get too bad but still keep out and about which I think we’re successfully balancing.
And now some pictures:

Some barbed wire at the Maize Maze:
Chloe and I got new phones via http://quidco.com/ and http://www.e2save.co.uk/ thus saving us something stupid like £270 on spanky new phones on contract. Hooray! Anyway, my phone now records video clips, like the one below which will hopefully work for you all. Maybe. Video!
Apart from the exciting world of telecommunications we went to Topcroft this weekend for the annual Fete. We did a car boot and hocked lots of our old stuff along with some of my parents things too, we made about £60 so didn’t do too badly. Then today we had a barbecue at my parents which was meat-tastic and oh so very tasty. Thanks Mum & Dad!
Oh, pictures from Ely before I forget.
