Im back. And not just back to blogging but back home as I’ve been in Haslemere since Sunday night and only got back yesterday evening. I was on a training course for work and got to stay in a 4 star hotel that had exorbitant prices for food and drink. Also they only had 11 TV channels which is rubbish. They didn’t even have Channel 5!
So, it was “a bit rubbish” being away from Chloe for so long, leaving her on Sunday was really difficult, it shouldn’t have been as we’ve spent time apart before but it still upset us both. Still, Lucy and Nige took good care of her while I was away so I know she was well fed and looked after! Plus the idiot cats were there to keep her warm and cosy too.
I could talk about Haslemere but a) it’s work stuff so I won’t and b) it wasn’t that exciting a place, although I did eat well while I was there as we got free lunches at the training venue. I managed to get lots of reading done and finished the new Terry Pratchett book (not bad, I like the City Watch books but that’s all he ever writes about these days, this was one of the better ones though) and also got lots of Advance Wars played (Gaming Goodness update shortly).
I’m glad it’s all over and done with now – I was originally supposed to go in March but then I got my tonsillitis and scarlet fever which somewhat precluded me from attending. And now I’m back with Chloe and all is right with the world!
