Some more San Andreas last night as I had some of the evening to myself. I finally managed to complete the “Robbing Uncle Sam” mission on my fourth attempt so at last that’s over and done with. I also went and robbed Mad Dogg to get his rhyme book which took a couple of attempts as I stupidly forgot how to kill with a sneak attack the first time. Following that I burned down a house at the behest of the police and then had to save a girl from inside it who is now my girlfriend. Obviously. All in a night’s work for me!

Got a bit further on SA tonight and can now do robberies, cool! Am intrigued to see how the story will develop though as there’s obviously a vast expanse of country still to uncover….
Finally got round to buying this the other week as it was a) £25 second-hand from Game and b) I had a £5 voucher so for £20 how could I say no? Not got too far to date but am starting to get the hang of it all, the main thing I keep forgetting is the need to eat. Further updates as events warrant.
Off to the ‘rents later today for proper dinner party action which will be good I hope. Just went and met Chloe from work as she went in for overtime this morning while I stayed home and cleaned. God I’m so domesticated. However due to a series of bad sitcom style misunderstandings we had a minor disagreement which was crap and rubbish. However all was soon straightened out thankfully. One day I’ll give Chloe the power to shoot rainbows out of her eyes to thank her for being so damn fantastic.
In other news big scary CMR went OK, at least I hope it did. Other than that, not much going on. Oh, been playing Burnout 3 quite a bit…

So more Burnout 3 then, this time round (and by this time I mean versus Burnout 2) I’m enjoying the racing more than the crashing, especially the “Road Rage” events (minor diversion: Why haven’t EA updated Road Rash for the 3D generation? It seems like an obvious choice which surprises me that they haven’t done it already). It’s excellent fun smashing your rivals against walls and pillars et al, my only concern is that the other cars seem to catch up rather too quickly in that annoying Mario Kart style that some racing games have. Still, I’m really enjoying it so far and am eager to keep playing which is always a good sign.
Why didn’t I buy this before? It’s excellent destroying and fast fun. It does get me a bit worked up and aggressive though which I guess is no bad thing. Strangely I find the racing better than the crash mode this time. Possibly because they’ve buggered about with the crash mode by adding all sorts of bonuses and stuff that clutter things up a bit. It’s supposed to be about the crashing man!
